100 days of clouds

A few months ago I signed up to take part in a project that challenges you to do something different everyday for 100 days. I thought it would be a good opportunity to have a nice little personal project that pushes me to achieve something each day over a long period. To keep it fairly simple I chose to photograph the skies and clouds, Wellington has some amazing cloudscapes as the weather is often very changeable.
Last weekend marked the 100th day and the end of the project, this culminated in an exhibition in Auckland with approximately one hundred other "100 dayer's". It was a great event (albeit a brief exhibition at 2 days) but a great chance to meet other people who had gone through the same experience and also showcase some of my work to a wider audience. While I was setting up my display area for the exhibition a TV crew from Seven Sharp (a daily current affairs program) came down to interview some of the exhibitors for their show that night. I happened to be one of the people they spoke with (right place right time?) and got a short spot on the TV that night. You can watch the very brief interview here...

one of the most common questions I got asked at the exhibition was if I had a favourite image. Well its hard to narrow it down to just one, but if I had to choose I would probably say this one...
